Three generations celebrate soccer at Scarborough’s Robbie Tournament

As the Robbie soccer tournament kicked off its 50th year on Saturday, June 25, Scarborough’s Lou Milveski celebrated the third generation of his family taking part in the event.

Milveski played in the Robbie in 1973 and ’74 for the Scarborough Blues, his daughters Vicky and Sandy played in the’80s and ‘90s for Scarborough United, and on Saturday his grandson Aidan Scherpenberg played in the festival at Warden Hydro Fields for the Pickering Soccer Club.
