PSC Announces New High Performance Manager
Pickering, ON – Pickering Soccer Club (PSC) is pleased to announce Chris Eveleigh as their new High Performance Manager. Chris will have an immediate influence on PSC’s high performance programming while helping his former employer, Kingston Clippers Soccer Club, transition to a new Technical Director.
“Chris has demonstrated that he can play a significant role on the path to Long Term Player Development and his past contributions have been wide ranging,” said Corrado Roccasalva, President of the Board of Directors of the PSC. “We are happy to have him join the PSC family. I have no doubt that Chris’ addition to our recently restructured technical staff will greatly contribute to the future success of the Pickering Soccer Club!”
Chris got his start in soccer with Exeter City Football Club in England. He spent nearly a decade at Exeter City, coaching players of all abilities and working with both academy and community players. In his most recent role, as the Kingston Clippers’ Technical Director since May 2013, Chris developed partnerships with local schools, clubs and businesses to help raise the clubs’ profile in Eastern Ontario. Chris was also instrumental in securing League1 Ontario licenses for the Clippers’ men’s and women’s programs. His qualifications include, but are not limited to, The FA A License Preparatory Course, UEFA B Certificate in Football, Sports Coach UK Multi Skills and Sports Coach UK Long Term Athlete Development.
“I’m very excited to join a team of fantastic staff and to work in a welcoming community,” noted Eveleigh. “The club has great coaches and members committed to the development of soccer in Pickering, Ontario and Canada,” he continued.
