DUFA Announces new Ladies Head Coach

March 9, 2016 Pickering, ON – DURHAM UNITED F.A. is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Clarke as the new Head Coach of the League 1 Durham United Women’s team.

Ron’s coaching accreditations include a USSF C, Canadian National B and Ontario Provincial B License. Since 2013, Ron has served the Oshawa Kicks Soccer Club as the Academy Director.

Coach Ron has demonstrated the ability to build winning programs and develop complete soccer players who have gone on to play at the NCAA Division One and Two levels in the United States and universities in Canada.  He has successfully prepared his athletes for the next level of play; whether it be college, university, country or professional.

Coach Paul Deabreu will continue to work with the team and provide invaluable support to the Head Coach. Since 2010, Paul has served the Pickering Soccer Club in a variety of head coaching and technical roles. Paul is currently the coach of the U18 OYSL Girls team and is an associate Head Coach with the York University women’s program.

Paul has extensive international experience. He has won a National Championship in 2010 with our U16 Girls. Several players on this team have gone on to play for the Canadian Women’s National Teams.
