DUFA Announces League 1 Ontario Women’s Head Coaching Change

Pickering, ON – Durham United Football Alliance (DUFA) is pleased to announce Chris Eveleigh as the new Head Coach of their League1 Ontario (L1O) Women’s program.  Mr. Eveleigh takes over the position immediately from Ron Clarke.

“After two great years as part of the Women’s team, the Club has decided to move in a different direction,” said Mr. Clarke. “I’ve been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with great players and coaches at DUFA and I want to express my appreciation for the past two years.”

chris-framedChris Eveleigh comes with a wealth of L1O experience, having guided both Kingston Clippers Men’s and Women’s programs in recent years as their Technical Director.  He was also named Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) 2016 Eastern Coach of the Year for his work with St. Lawrence College Women’s team.  He is eager to get started with his next challenge as DUFA L1O Women’s Head Coach in addition to bringing together a Women’s program coaching staff.  “Moving to the Pickering Soccer Club, and now having the opportunity to lead the Durham United Women’s team, – who are a known force throughout Ontario – is a privilege and a challenge that I’m looking forward to,” said Mr. Eveleigh. “I’m excited to get started!”
